Burn:
To remove the MPAA video from a commercial DVD you have purchased, follow these steps:


  1. Rip open the DVD to your desktop using a program such as Mac the Ripper
 
     
  2. Once the disc is ripped, open the video_TS folder
 
     
  3. Within the TS folder, there should be video files with the .VOB extension. Identify the file you want to replace (such as the original MPAA video), note the file name and delete it
 
     
  4. Put the new video (ours or one you have created) in the video_TS folder and change the file name so that it matches the .VOB file you deleted (i.e. VTS_01_0.VOB). If you don’t get sound, replace the .BUP file using the same file name
 
     
  5. Test the VIDEO_TS folder with the DVD player in your computer
 
     
  6. Burn a new disk using Toast 7
